Rain City Clay is a participant in monthly West Seattle Art Walks hosted by various galleries and shops around West Seattle. It is held the second Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 8 pm, year-round. We are excited to celebrate Pride Month this June and show off works made by LGBTQIA+ artists working in clay.

‘Introductions’ will be a lively showcase of ceramic artwork and a fun social event.

Loren Lukens & Beth Kirchhoff will introduce the Brace Point Pottery Community to the Rat City Studios Crew through an exhibition of current studio assistants, instructors, independent study participants, and students. Brace Point Pottery will be transforming into Rain City Clay in Spring 2022. Rain City Clay will be the sister studio of Rat City Studios.

Several of my cups and mugs will be for sale through the Good Earth Pottery Website as a part of their 12th annual Winter Warmers Benefit Cup Show.

5% of cup sales will be donated to help feed our neighbors. This is an annual fundraiser for Maple Alley Inn, the hot meals program of Bellingham Washington’s Opportunity Council.

Click! Design That Fits is a small art and design-oriented shop in West Seattle. To celebrate the opening of their shop, every year they host an art show featuring work by their employees! As an employee at Click! I will have a selection of ceramic pieces featured for the month of October!

Rat City Studios is hosting an exhibition at Dubsea Coffee in October of 2021 – “The Community Cup”.
