I’ve led a wide range of classes during my six years of teaching clay. From ten-week beginner and intermediate wheel throwing and handbuilding classes, to one-day try clay events. I’ve also taught individual lessons and private group events focused on an introduction to throwing, handbuilding, or a specific skill of the participant’s choice.
I love teaching and creating a space where students are free to explore their creativity and build confidence while learning something new. It’s rewarding to watch them grow more comfortable with the material, take pride in their work, and learn from both successes and mistakes. My goal when teaching is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, problem-solve, and have fun.
